A former newspaper reporter currently working in education, Joanna got involved with 1UpOnCancer following the death of her coworker from leukemia in 2016. She enjoys using her skills to help spread awareness about cancer and the resources available to patients and their families.
Joanna enjoys Wii games as well as old-school Nintendo, especially Legend of Zelda, Tetris, and the various Mario games.
